Campers will explore the relationship between the earth and it's people.  Looking at ways
that we can be gentle on the earth and faithful to God's Creation.
Registration Procedures

     Use our online registration at
http://www.perlworks.com/wniucc/regcart/ (be sure to
carefully the instructions), or complete the registration form on page 11 of the 2008
Outdoor Ministries Program brochure. Please make checks payable to PNC-UCC (Pacific
Northwest Conference, United Church of Christ). Mail paper registrations to Camp
Registrar, 611 N. Progress Road, Spokane Valley, WA 99037. Registrations will be
accepted up until five days before each event, subject to available space. Registrations
postmarked later than two weeks prior to camp will be assessed a late fee of $20. In case
of cancellation, fees paid in excess of $50 will be refunded, up until two weeks prior to the
event. Register early!




Family Discounts

     If you are paying for three or more registrations for members of your nuclear
household to attend any combination of camps during the summer, you may discount
each registration by ten percent. To qualify for the family discount, ALL registrations must
be mailed together, or registered at the same time online. Check the "Family Discount"
space on EACH registration form.




Campership Assistance

     Many churches in the Conference provide financial assistance; some campership
money is available through the Conferenc.e Please contact your pastor for financial
assistance (requests for Conference camperships must come through your pastor).




Campers with Physical Disabilities

     We welcome all people who wish to attend a camp or retreat. However, due to the
limitations of our outdoor facilities and program staff, campers with physical disabilities
must advise the registrar of specific needs and limitations six (6) weeks prior to the
camp/retreat. Campers requiring personal care assistance must be accompanied at the
camp/retreat by a gender/age appropriate, state-approved aide.

     Do you have fond memories of attending camp as a child? Do you enjoy working with
youth, singing songs, playing games? Would you be willing to spend a week at camp this
summer sharing your faith with our youth? Please contact Randy Crowe at

     Outdoor Ministries in our Conference is a partnership with the local church,
complementing the Christian Education programs of your church, and we depend on
volunteers to make it happen.




N-Sid-Sen

     N-Sid-Sen is a camp and conference center located on the shores of Lake Coeur
d'Alene in northern Idaho. The camp has 270 acres and 4,788 feet of shoreline on the
lake, affording many opportunities for swimming, sailing, canoeing, hiking, walking,
fishing, outdoor games, and quiet contemplation. This is a wonderful place to come and
learn about your faith and how it fits into God's world.
     Driving directions: From Interstate 90, take exit 22 for Highway 97 (about 10 miles
east of the town of Coeur d'Alene). Turn south and drive approximately 20 miles on
Highway 97. N-Sid-Sen is at milepost 77 (about 1.5 miles past the Carlin Bay Store).

Pilgrim Firs

     Pilgrim Firs is a camp and conference center located on the Kitsap Peninsula in
western Washington. Its 100 acres includes 60 acres of forest with nature trails, a large
play field, and an outdoor chapel. The camp completely surrounds Lake Flora, a 7-acre
spring-fed lake. Pilgrim Firs is a peaceful, friendly place. you will find quiet areas when
you seek solitude, small group settings, or wide-open spaces to join a large group
indoors, outdoors, or on the lake.
      Driving directions: From Seattle, take Interstate 5 south. Take Highway 16 from
Tacoma across the Narrows Bridge, getting off at the Sedgewick Road exit (at milepost
25). Turn left (west) and pass through three traffic lights, driving 2.9 miles to Pilgrim Firs
on Lake Flora Road (Sedgewick Road becomes Glenwood Road and then Lake Flora
Road). Pilgrim Firs is on the left-hand (south) side of the street by a lamppost.
