WHAT IS THIS CAMP ABOUT?”
Camp started over 20 years ago as a
welcoming and safe place for people
to explore their spirituality in the
context of being a sexual minority.
Although society has become more
accepting and we are welcomed by
some faith communities, many are
still struggling with acceptance and
some are outright hostile. For many
campers, this retreat has provided
spiritual healing they could not find in
church. For others, it has been a
place to openly question beliefs.
Everyone that has attended has
found themselves in a relaxing, rustic
sanctuary surrounded by a loving
and supportive community.
*ALL ARE WELCOME – you don’t
have to be a UCC member or
affiliated with any church to attend.
